Christian critics pan the movie Noah

by Matt Walsh, Cyrus Jasnnsen and John Nolte

News Weekly, April 12, 2014

Matt Walsh

Noah is a major Hollywood blockbuster, made by an atheist director best known for his previous flick where a mentally disturbed lesbian ballerina goes insane and bleeds to death on stage. Already, a critical person might be slightly concerned about his handling of the Bible, considering what he just did to the ballet.

I’ve also heard some “Christian leaders” endorse this steaming pile of heretical horse manure. I’m tempted to accuse them of being cowardly, dumb or dishonest; but I’ll just give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they slept through the most troubling parts — like the part at the beginning, and the end, and all of the parts in between….

Russell Crowe in Noah

Cyrus Janssen

The true story of Noah is so powerful, so compelling, that you don’t need all the Hollywood nonsense to enhance this film. Unfortunately film director Darren Aronofsky completely missed this point and the result is a cinematic disaster.

Watching this movie left a chilling effect on me as I left the theatres. I was outraged, upset and simply mortified that a story of such epic proportions could be twisted around and retold in a way that leaves audiences completely void of the truth.

I shouldn’t be surprised though, the film’s director Darren Aronofsky is a self-proclaimed Atheist, and yet this man directed the film! But as I researched more to find out the truth I found his self-proclaimed goal was to make Noah the “least Biblical Biblical movie”. Aronofsky seems to have done the impossible, he took a Biblical story and made it into a secular film that does not mention God once.

John Nolte

What does matter, though, is The Message. The Message is everything. And this is where Aronofsky is the snake in the garden. Using $135 million, he and Paramount have brilliantly and deviously disguised the Pagan god Gaia as the God of the Old Testament … as THE God.

And let’s give the Devil his due: using the story of Noah to twist Christianity into something it is not, is a genius piece of propagandising that is sure to lead many away from God under the mistaken belief that through left-wing environmentalism they are coming closer to Him.

Aronofsky is the anti-Michelangelo: a master craftsman using his talents to a dishonest and wicked end.

Aronofsky’s blasphemous claim that God is some kind of tree-hugger who wiped out humanity in the Flood to save the planet and punish Man for hunting animals is a bald-faced lie.
