A
miracle for Nicholas? (letter)

by Atala Ladd

News Weekly, December 25, 2010
Sir,

Thank you for publishing extracts from the letter of a courageous dying man, Nicholas Tonti-Filippini, PhD, who writes vigorously in opposition to euthanasia (News Weekly, December 11, 2010).

His compassionate words on behalf of all those who are seriously disabled and in chronic pain, show heroic courage. His open letter to South Australia's Premier Mike Rann must have affected all those who read it.

The campaign for life needs the expertise of bioethicists such as Dr Tonti-Filippini. Let's all pray for a miracle cure for Nicholas. Deo volente.

(Mrs) Atala Ladd,
Box Hill North, Vic.
