Sir,

In my talk at the NCC national conference on February 7, I mentioned some of the people who helped to oppose Victoria's Abortion Law Reform Act 2008.

Upon reflection, I realised that I did not acknowledge the great help given to me (and to some other MPs) by Babette Francis and Charles Francis QC, both of whom did a lot of excellent work against the bill.

Babette and Charles Francis certainly deserve recognition for their very valuable contributions.
