China atrocities exposed (letter)

by Wendy Tiong

News Weekly, August 19, 2006

Sir,

I would like to thank Mr Peter Westmore for bringing to the fore the plight of Falun Gong practitioners in China ("China: let the truth be told", News Weekly, July 22, 2006).

Their only "crime" is that they practise "truthfulness, compassion and tolerance", which is the antithesis of communist ideology.

It's about time the communist regime in China is exposed for its atrocities and brutality towards its own people.

Wendy Tiong,
Frewville, SA
